騰訊財經訊北京時間1月19日晚間消息，世界第三大超市連鎖巨頭英國樂購公司（Tesco PLC）周四在提交倫敦證交所的一份監管文件中表示，股神巴菲特的投資集團伯克希爾哈撒韋公司（Berkshire Hathaway）已經在1月13日增持了樂購公司的股份，持股比例從3.21%提高到了5.08%。在伯克希爾哈撒韋增持樂購股份的前一天，樂購公司的股價受一次盈利預警的影響，大幅下跌了16%。樂購是規模僅次於家樂福和沃爾瑪公司的連鎖超市運營商。
巴菲特以價值投資和長期持股聞名，此次增持樂購的股份可看做是對樂購公司戰略的一次信心投票。樂購公司此前決定通過放棄明年的盈利增長來投資其英國業務，此舉旨在扭轉英國業務銷售額和市場份額下跌的趨勢。
